Yesterday 29th August mass political demonstrations took place in Bangkok and southern Thailand including Phuket. The result being that Phuket Airport among others was closed as of 5pm yesterday evening due to it being occupied by the demonstrators. As we stand today the airport is still closed with no flights in or out. Obviously our customers who were due to fly in are no longer able to do so until this unrest is resolved.
